This page describes our range of Sennheiser headset equipment. Sennheiser headsets work with system phones, phones with a headset socket, DECT and mobile phones. They also work with ordinary telephones without a dedicated headset socket, but you may need a headset amplifier. Then there's the exciting new DW800 Wireless Adapter!
There are currently three ranges:
The SH- and CC-series headsets can be used with any headset-ready telephone - just select the right connection cord using the Setup Guide [PDF]. They can also be used with any ordinary phone where the handset is connected to the body of the phone with standard modular connectors. Using an amplifer (UI-series) gives better control over mic and earpiece volume.
All SH- and CC-series headsets incorporate ActiveGard (TM) protection against acoustic shock. Sennheiser's White Paper on ActiveGard (TM) gives more technical information on this important technology.
